The 45th promotion of the West African Centre for Banking Training and Studies (COFEB) has just been launched. Registration for the degree cycle runs until 12 May 2022.

The training is aimed at executives of economic and financial administrations, banks and financial institutions as well as decentralized financial systems of the member states of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU). It is also open to agents of community structures and regional financial institutions. CofeB also welcomes agents of African Central Banks, as part of the partnership relations that the BCEAO maintains with these institutions.

The Centre could, however, on an exceptional basis, accept applications from certain firms operating in the economic and financial sectors, research centres, design offices located in the WAEMU. The BCEAO awards scholarships to the first five (5) candidates admitted from each WAEMU State. Female applications are strongly encouraged and bonus points are awarded when awarding scholarships to promote their greater representation.
