The International Cocoa Organization (ICCO) recently adopted a new international cocoa agreement. Created in 1973, the International Cocoa Organization (ICCO) is an intergovernmental organization born under the auspices of the United Nations that brings together 22 exporting countries and 29 importing countries.

ICCO is chaired by Aly Touré of Côte d'Ivoire, the world's largest cocoa producer. At the end of its ordinary meeting held recently in Abidjan, the International Cocoa Organization (ICCO) adopted a new international cocoa agreement with the introduction of an “indefinite duration” aimed at better meeting the current challenges of & Exact; cocoa economy, according to one of its press releases published on Wednesday.
