The International Cocoa Organization (ICCO) recently adopted a new international cocoa agreement. At the end of its ordinary meeting held recently in Abidjan, the International Cocoa Organization (ICCO) adopted a new international cocoa agreement with the introduction of an “indefinite duration” aimed at better meeting the current challenges of & Exact; cocoa economy, according to one of its press releases published on Wednesday. According to ICCO, the purpose of this agreement is to promote a “living income” for cocoa farmers with a reference to remunerative prices to achieve sustainability Economic, focusing on added value, quality and food safety, supporting research and innovation in the cocoa value chain.
