On Friday, the Council of Government approved a draft of a decree to establish remuneration for services rendered by the Center for the dissemination of legal information, structure under the Ministry of Justice. The text, referenced under the number 2.25.1105, was presented by the Deputy Minister in charge of Relations with Parliament, spokesperson for government, on behalf of the Minister of Justice.

This initiative is part of the recognition of the role strategic role played by the Centre in disseminating, updating and the accessibility of legal information. According to a press release from the ministry Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament, the Centre carries out missions essential through the creation of digital databases, the development of dedicated electronic platforms and the provision of regular and structured legislative and organic texts, as well as various legal documents.

The draft decree thus aims to provide the Centre with own financial resources, in return for the services it provides. He defines precisely the nature of the services likely to be subject remuneration, while regulating the terms and conditions of their invoicing.

Through this reform, the authorities intend to strengthen the operational capacity of the Centre and enable it to fully fulfill its missions in the service of justice, in a context marked by increasing digitalization of administration and increased demand for access reliable to legal information. This measure also reflects the will of government to consolidate the modernization of the judicial system and to improve the quality of services offered to legal professionals such as to citizens.
