On January 20, 2026, the head of the CEMAC division at Ecobank Cameroon, Sylvestre Ouattara, was visiting Yaoundé, at the Road Fund. The object of his visit is to present to the administrator of the Road Fund, Aubin Isaïe Moussa, ways of partnership between the two institutions.

A communication from the Road Fund indicates that Ecobank wishes to support the Cameroonian establishment in collecting and mobilization of resources, as well as in the financing of road projects. The Road Fund underlines that Ecobank's ambition is to support, at the same time, the strengthening of revenues and access to finance adapted to heavy investments.

Public infrastructure company road vehicles, the Road Fund finances the maintenance of roads and ensures the payment of service providers. Its system is based on two windows: one “maintenance” window, dedicated to the routine and periodic maintenance of road network, and an “investment” office, in charge of financing and payment of services relating to development and rehabilitation of roads.
