The 120 young participants of the summer school presented last Friday, August 13 in Godomey the six applications they have made, in front of an audience composed of knowers, relatives and friends and curious.

 

Clap end for the first edition of the summer school on artificial intelligence organized by the Vallet Foundation and the NGO Benin excellence (Be). One hundred and twenty young Beninese pupils, students and professionals now have the basic knowledge of artificial intelligence to find solutions to problems of all kinds. They were selected and trained for three weeks in programming, machine learning, robotics and embedded electronics during the first edition of the summer school on artificial intelligence. An initiative led by the Vallet Foundation (under the aegis of the France Foundation) and implemented by the NGO Benin Excellence (Be), from July 19 to August 13. To put the knowledge acquired into practice, the young programmers were divided into six teams, each of which carried out a project. Epidemic spread prediction model, basic search engine tolerant of spelling mistakes and omissions, automatic object classification system, self-driving automatic car sensitive to traffic lights, Automatic system of counting chicken heads in a chicken coop, and optimization of a helicopter failure, are the six achievements of the learners.
