The OCI-Senegal Investment Forum held on 16 and 17 June last saw the birth of a platform dedicated to investment facilitation for the benefit of African private sector. The initiative taken on 17 June will soon be sealed by a workshop to better understand the expectations of the Senegalese and African private sector in general.

At the request of the Islamic Society for Private Sector Development (SID), a specialized agency of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), the financial institutions egrave; res decided to set up a framework for the exchange of information in order to facilitate access to finance for businesses. Among the institutions that have sealed this consultation framework are SID, Afreximbank, the West African Development Bank (BOAD), the African Solidarity Fund (FSA), the Islamic Center for Trade Development (CIDC) and BADEA, which owns the Senegal Investors Club.
