In the African Countries with an Official Portuguese Language (PALOP), the AfricaInvest financing fund has 82.4 billion kwanzas, to invest in sectors such as agribusiness, real estate and hotels, or 100 million US dollars.

A note from the Angolan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIA) indicated that AfricaInvest is executing its strategy in the form of a business platform, under United States regulations also covering investments sovereign debt or other investors. AfricaInvest's short-term objective is to allocate the initial capital of 100 million dollars in various businesses, distributing the capital as a percentage between the different countries observed

The Angolan Chamber of Commerce and Industry has indicated that AfricaInvest assumes that no African country will be excluded, but points out that, in the first phase, the focus is on Portuguese-speaking countries, starting with Angola, Mozambique, Guinea Bissau, Cape Town Green and São Tomé and Príncipe
