At the Conference of the Parties (COP28), the West African Development Bank (BOAD) and the Islamic Investment and Export Credit Insurance Corporation (SIACE) partnered to boost sustainable investment and prosperity Born in West Africa.

The main objective of the partnership signed between BOAD and SIACE is to address key areas such as climate change adaptation and communication projects. According to the signatories, “this collaboration marks an important step in promoting economic integration and sustainable development in West Africa.” The two institutions plan to take advantage of this partnership to encourage direct investment and improve the economic landscape of their common Member States.
