For embezzlement of tens of thousands of euros Marie Thérèse Onipogui, Karamoko Soumah and Kandjoura Sy Savavané are prosecuted before the Criminal Court of Kaloum.

The 3 Guineans are accused of "forgery and use of forgery, usurpation of title and identity, abuse of blank cheque, theft, complicity in seal falsification and fraud" to the detriment of the Embassy of France in Guinea. They allegedly committed all these offences to divert several tens of thousands of euros representing the pension paid to Guinean veterans by the French State.
The Public Prosecutor's Office requested two years in prison against Karamoko Soumah and asked the court to issue an arrest warrant against Mrs. Marie Thérèse Onipogui. It must be said that the latter, did not want to appear before this court of first instance to answer for the charges against him.
Counsel for the civil party (the Embassy of France in Guinea) asked the court to order the three defendants to pay a "symbolic franc" to the Embassy of France in Guinea "as an interest" for the damage suffered.
"Mr. President, during the debates in your court, it was demonstrated how the defendants proceeded to commit the offences for which they are being prosecuted before you here. Through the questions that were asked and the answers that the defendants gave, your court had to fully understand the reality of the facts in this case. Evidence has been provided to you, including certificates of residence and attestations of life that have been made by people who do not have the quality to do so. We, the civil party, ask you to see the Embassy of France restore its rights. We ask you to order compensation for the damage caused to the French State by these citizens. For civil interests, we ask you to condemn them to the payment of symbolic francs," said the lawyer of the civil party. For the time being, the case has been put under advisement.
