Based on information recently released in some media concerning a complaint brought by Afriland First Bank (AFB) as part of its legal dispute with the Guinea Chamber of Agriculture (CAG), Crédit Rural de Guinée (CRG) provides clarifications.

The CAG accounts domiciled at the CRG have been the subject of a judicial seizure, following a court decision condemning the CAG to the payment of more than fourteen (14) billion francs Guineans (GNF) for the benefit of AFB. The CRG strictly implemented this decision. judicial, by proceeding with the payment ordered by the competent authorities. The CRG responded to this request, in accordance with the banking rules in force. and in the absence of any judicial prohibition relating to the balance concerned.

The CRG recalls that it acted exclusively in the framework of the law, complying with court decisions and instructions from its customers, without ever departing from its regulatory obligations.

Guinea Rural Credit Finally, reassures its customers, partners and the public about the rigor and compliance of its management. It reaffirms its commitment to the principles of legality, transparency and respect for the judicial authority, and reserves the right to assert one's position before the competent courts, in strict respect for the presumption of innocence.
