The deputy director general of the company Les Sucreries Africaines de Côte d'Ivoire (SUCAF-CI), Roseline Baroan announced on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at the launch of the 2023-2024 sugar campaign called “Premier Feu” that the company has projected the production of more than 120,000 tons of sugar for his new campaign.

During the previous sugar campaign, SUCAF-CI reached around 125,000 tons of sugar. Over 7,000 people work during the campaign period at the company's two production sites. Indeed, the chairman of the board of directors of SUCAF-CI, Kouamé Kra Joseph, welcomed the performances projected by his collaborators. Baroan indicated in the presence of local administrative and traditional authorities as well as the company's administrative staff that at the two sites of Ferké 1 and Ferké 2, these results are expected and hope remains on the support of all workers to achieve them
