Togo now has a National Centre for Alert and Response to Computer Threats (CERT). This site was inaugurated on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Lomé by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Digital Transformation.

The National Cyber Threat Alert and Response Center (CERT) is a cyberattack response structure. It will be led by the cybersecurity services company "Cyber Defense Africa S.A.S", itself under the supervision of the National Cybersecurity Agency (ANCy).
The role of CERT will be to identify, analyze and respond to cyber threats to Togo, its citizens, businesses and organizations. According to the Minister in charge of the Digital Economy and Digital Transformation, Cina LAWSON, with the inauguration of the CERT, Togo has just taken another step in strengthening the fight against cybercrime.
"We are pleased to announce the launch of CERT.tg, Togo's first national computer emergency response team. One more step from the government to strengthen cybersecurity in Togo. As the government accelerates digital transformation across all sectors of the economy, the CERT.TG will build trust in digital services and protect citizens and businesses from cyber threats," she posted on her twitter account.
