Birahime Seck, announced that the Forum civil, Senegalese section of Transparency International “has released a statement relating to Disputes of Interest Publics concerning the company Barrick Gold for 120 billion FCFA and the Sabodala Gold Operations (SGO) for 150 billion FCFA”. According to him, the National Office for Combating Fraud and Corruption (OFNAC) was contacted to obtain information on the one hand on the regularity of transactions carried out between the State and the two companies and on the other hand to know whether the interests of the State and taxpayers were preserved
