Official data as of December 31, 2025 mention that Senegal's customs revenue reached 1,286.1 billion CFA francs in 2025, exceeding the annual objective set by the law of finances.

The amount recovered exceeds 39.9 billion CFA francs the target of 1 246.2 billion planned for the fiscal year. Compared to 2024, revenue increased by 103.6 billion CFA francs, confirming the central role of the General Directorate of Customs in the financing of the national budget.

In particular, they include taxes. domestic consumption collected for Taxes and Domains, as well as community samples intended for UEMOA and ECOWAS.

Customs authorities award this performance based on several factors, including the strengthening of regularization of revenues from imports of petroleum products, a better control of the tax base of high-yielding products, as well only an intensification of the fight against commercial fraud.

The administration puts also highlighted the strengthening of controls, supported by the exploitation of business intelligence and data analysis, as well as the pursuit of dematerialization and digitalization of procedures, extended to units customs in the interior of the country
