Since Monday, African administrations are in training to better lead the fight against tax evasion. For three days, participants from a dozen countries will be experienced in setting up operational units for tax information purposes.

Afarchan administrations are training to better understand illicit multinational transactions and tax evasion that cost Africa more than $50 billion a year. The establishment of the operational units will make it possible to request and obtain key information in the fight against tax evasion. The meeting is co-organised by the Centre for Reflection and Exchange of Heads of Tax Administrations (CREDAF), the OECD Global Forum on Transparency and the Togolese Revenue Office (OTR).
