On Wednesday, October 11, a workshop brought together local elected officials and municipal officials of municipalities in the Tchamba prefecture on the prevention and fight against corruption and similar offenses.

The meeting funded by the GIZ Good Financial Governance Project is initiated by the High Authority for the Prevention and Combating of Corruption and Similar Offences (HAPLUCIA) as part of a national campaign to strengthen the capacities of elected officials and municipal officials on the scourge. The aim of this workshop is to equip participants on good governance and transparency in the management of public and local affairs. It has made it possible to prevent corruption in all its forms in public services, in order to enable the socio-economic development of their various localities
