On Tuesday, July 25, local elected officials and municipal officials of the four municipalities of the Lacs prefecture strengthened their capacities on preventing and combating corruption and crimes similar to Aného.

The High Authority for Preventing and Combating Corruption and Related Offences (HAPLUCIA) organized the meeting with the technical and financial collaboration of the Republic of Germany through the GIZ “Good Financial Governance” project. This capacity building is part of the national campaign of municipalities to prevent and combat corruption and similar offenses. Its objective was to contribute to the strengthening of good local governance and transparency in the management of local authorities.
