From 27 to 28 September, the regional workshop of national anti-corruption institutions took place. This workshop took place in Abidjan in Côte d'Ivoire. As a result, an agreement was signed between the African Development Bank (ADB) and the Association of African Anti-Corruption Authorities (AAACA).

Strengthen the strategic program alliance and collaboration between the ADB Group through the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Office and AAACA, de dé To liberate on various areas of common and mutually beneficial partnerships, these are the objectives of the agreement signed between the ADB and the AAACA. This makes it possible to formalize relations between the ADB and the anti-corruption authorities in Africa, according to the CNLCEI report.

Indeed, this meeting allowed African institutions to make an effective fight against corruption to formulate some proposals. It also allows for the establishment of an African Anti-Corruption Research and Studies Centre (CAREC), and for strengthening AAACA's anti-corruption capacities in Africa to enable better support to be provided to regional associations, including financial support. and technical, explore areas of common interest in the fight against corruption among partners and stakeholders through strengthened cooperation in awareness-raising and capacity building.
