On Wednesday, December 07, 2022, a contact meeting between HABG and CNLC took place in Abidjan Cocody. According to the Secretary General of HABG, Henri Aka Augustin, this meeting is part of his mission to prevent and fight against corruption and similar crimes.

The High Authority for Good Governance (HABG) and the National Anti-Counterfeiting Committee (CNLC) are considering a partnership to fight corruption, similar crimes and counterfeiting. Aka, in her remarks, reiterated the willingness of her institution to establish close links with the CNLC to combine their efforts to confront these scourges that continuously threaten society.

Indeed, the mission of HABG is to investigate corrupt practices, identify presumed perpetrators and their accomplices and then prosecute. CNLC for its part will take preventive actions to prevent the introduction into the national territory of pirated or counterfeit goods.
