In his speech, he called for cooperation and coordination in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing within the Economic Community of West African States.

"Cooperation and coordination should not only be strengthened, valued but also and above all applied at all levels and at all stages of the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing," said Mamadou Ibrahima Lô. At the regional level, he emphasizes the importance of a mutual evaluation of countries, including the Senegalese system of combating money laundering and terrorist financing (AML/CFT).
