New projects were announced on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 by the DRC as part of the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing.

After an interview with the Minister of State in charge of Justice, Rose Mutombo, the portfolio manager of the German International Cooperation Agency (GTZ) in the DRC, Philipp Lendle, said that “this working session was a planning of new projects between the governments of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Germany. These new projects will focus on combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism.”

According to her, “the Minister of State was “very happy that the government of the Federal Republic of Germany could engage in the process of reforming the draft law on combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism with the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo”.
