An agreement has been reached between the Attorney-General, the Directorate of Public Security and the Financial Information and Control Service (SICCFIN). The information was given in a press release issued by the General Prosecutor's Office and transmitted by the Directorate of Communication of the Prince's Government

Tripartite agreement on cooperation, coordination and information exchange in the areas of money laundering, terrorist financing, and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

This agreement follows FATF Recommendation 2, which requires countries to put in place operational mechanisms allowing the financial intelligence unit and criminal prosecution authorities to cooperate, coordinate and exchange information with each other in order to develop and implement activities& Eacute; s of LCB/FT

The agreement is now being added to the regulatory arsenal that the Principality is currently developing to better comply with European standards and meet the requirements of the Moneyval Committee.
