The Democratic Republic of Congo presents the efforts and results of its government in the fight to eradicate corruption and to defend democratic values. This is during the Global Anti-Corruption Conference-IACC (The International Anti-Corruption Conference) which is being held from 06 to 10 December 2022 in Washington.

The press release from the Agency for the Prevention and Combating of Corruption emphasizes that “this conference will allow the APLC coordinator to present all the efforts and results of the DRC in preventing and fighting corruption.” Indeed, the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) is organized under the theme: “uprooting corruption, defending democratic values”.

Currently, the Democratic Republic of Congo is ranked among the top performers of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in mobilizing revenue and in managing public affairs well, the source points out. Furthermore, the same source notes that the International Conference against Corruption (IACC) is the first global forum bringing together Heads of State, civil society and the private sector to address the challenges and issues of corruption.
