By organizing this economic forum dedicated to the financing of value chains, BCP wants through its subsidiary Banque Atlantique to strengthen its role as a leading banking player in Mali. The banking group is strongly involved in the socio-economic development of the continent.

The BCP Group is thus consolidating its global vision, which is based on structuring choices to actively support the financing of economies and the support of projects with a high social impact. Several initiatives were launched during this forum, particularly for the benefit of agricultural and mining ecosystems, but also the private sector, microfinance and mobile banking.

Sharing BCP's innovative model

Several authorities have enhanced their presence this economic meeting. In this case Mr. Kamal Mokdad, Director General of BCP and International, the Ambassador of Morocco to Mali, several members of the Malian government, but especially local personalities.

During the forum, a high-level panel made it possible to share the innovative model that will be used to support structuring local initiatives. These initiatives will make it possible to integrate the entire value chain in order to offer financing products adapted to each stakeholder.

The BCP Group reaffirmed its commitment to multidimensional support for companies. On the sidelines of this forum, the BCP signed several agreements. These are intended to finance investment and operating needs, as well as external growth operations of three local companies for an amount of more than 76 billion FCFA.

BCP in line with the government's agenda

The ambitions of the BCP group in Mali are in line with the priorities of the local authorities, set out in the 2018-2023 government programme.

To support entrepreneurship and the Malian private sector, the Moroccan group has designed innovative solutions. In this vein, Banque Atlantique, one of its subsidiaries, recently launched "Atlantique leasing". This new method offers its leasing service to VSEs and SMEs.

Banque Atlantique is the 3rd largest banking group in the WAEMU (West African Economic and Monetary Union) zone in terms of market share. It is present in the eight WAEMU countries.
