This Wednesday, June 13, 2022, cocoa futures fell in New York, while coffee and sugar climbed.

New York cocoa fell 0.6% to $2,339 a ton at 13:57 GMT, falling back to a one-year low of $2,275 reached last week. In Europe the Brussels-based European Cocoa Association reported that second-quarter cocoa grindings rose 2% from a year earlier to 364,081 tons. London cocoa in September fell 0.9% to 1,739 pounds per ton. Coffee and sugar, meanwhile, are gaining in height. September arabica and robusta coffee rose 1.6% and 1.5%, respectively. October raw sugar rose 1.6% as did August white sugar, which rose 1.4%. It should be noted that the second quarter North American cocoa grindings are expected to be released on July 21.
