Le lancement du projet “ Strengthening civil society for the sustainability and good governance of the cocoa sector in Côte d'Ivoire” took place today in Abidjan. This project was set up by the Ivorian Platform for Sustainable Cocoa (PICD) following an initial successful experience between Inades-Formation Côte d'Ivoire and the German NGO INKOTA, funded by GIZ

The main objective of the project inauguration ceremony is to inform and raise awareness among a wide range of actors, from civil society organizations to cocoa farmers, about the objectives and implications of the project in terms of sustainability and good governance of the sector cocoa in Ivory Coast. This project addresses crucial issues for the cocoa sector, including the economic situation of producers, the marketing of the product and its processing. This project aims to strengthen a collaborative platform where local actors, producer organizations, Ivorian and European civil society will be able to share ideas, expertise, and solutions to promote the cocoa sector in a responsible and sustainable way
