The Ministry of Energy, Petroleum and Mines indicated that monthly Senegalese oil production has “gradually increased with the sequential opening of producing wells (11 active out of 12) until reaching a plateau of around 3 million barrels per month in August and September”. According to the ministry, “the production forecasts for the year 2024 remain unchanged with the objective of maintaining the plateau of 100,000 barrels per day during the fourth quarter
”.
