Le vendredi 19 mai 2023 a eu lieu l' inauguration par le ministre des Mines, du Pétrole et de l' Energie, Mamadou Sangafowa Coulibaly of the Perseus Yaouré gold mine. It was in the department of Bouaflé, in the presence of eminent personalities from Côte d'Ivoire and abroad

During the inauguration of the Yaouré gold mine, Minister Sangafowa affirmed his desire to continue reforms. It is a question of providing the ministerial department with a sectoral policy, revisiting the mining code, and equipping the mining sector with a code relating to local content to allow not only Côte d'Ivoire to get the best benefit from exploitation but also mining and especially the populations affected to also benefit more. The latter urged Perseus Mining Yaouré to fulfill its commitments to Côte d'Ivoire, to the populations affected by gold mining

Il a aussi salué le Président Alassane Ouattara pour avoir pris l' engagement de faire du secteur des mines, du pétrole et de l' énergie le second vivier de l' Economy Ivorienne
