The copper in Shanghai backed off for the fourth session consecutive Wednesday. Futures contracts hit a low in more than one week, while a downward revision of the production target of Codelco for 2025 always predicted a higher offer the year next.

The price of copper in Shanghai fell until 84,900 yuan per ton earlier in the session, reaching its lowest Level in two weeks since October 22, when it hit 84,500 yuan per ton. The most active copper contract on the stock exchange Shanghai's share of futures was down 1.25% to 85,350 yuan (11%) 982.31 dollars) per metric ton at 02:50 GMT. The reference term contract on three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange fell by 0.32% for to $10,629.5 per ton.

Among the other base metals of SHFE, aluminum fell by 0.98%, zinc fell by 0.55%, nickel fell by 0.96%, tin lost 1.24% and lead recorded the only gain of 0.32%.

Among other SHFE base metals, aluminum has decreased by 0.56%, zinc lost 0.57%, nickel fell by 0.30%, tin fell by 0.60% and lead remained unchanged.
