On Wednesday, copper rose for a sixth consecutive session. It reached an all-time high close to 12,300 dollars on Wednesday, thanks to robust American economic growth that boosted the demand outlook and a weaker dollar that supported the prices.

The reference price for copper at three months on the London Metal Exchange was up 1.1% to $12,195 per ton at 10:10 GMT, after reaching a record high of $12,282 earlier in during the day. The metal gained 2.6% this week, 9% in December and is in On track to achieve a jump of 39% in 2025, supply constraints fuelling the bullish bets on copper.

On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, copper has also reached an all-time high of 96,750 yuan (13,793 dollars) the Thousand Wednesday.

Among the other metals in LME, aluminum has increased by 0.6% to $2,956 per ton, after reaching its peak high level since May 2022. Zinc rose slightly by 0.2% to 3,098 dollars, lead gained 0.6% to 1,994.50 dollars, while Pewter rose 1% to $43,005.

Nickel has advanced for the sixth day in a row, in a context of reduction expectations of ore production in Indonesia next year, and was established at $15,835, up 0.6%
