Ghana, the largest African gold producer, in its intention to improve its global position with respect to gold at the central bank level, has put forward an economic policy on gold bullion purchases. Indeed, he managed to double his precious metal possessions at the end of 2022.

Figures from Cedi's issuing institution indicate that during 2022, Ghana recorded a significant increase in its Central Bank's gold reserves.
