U.S. gold futures were down 0.1% at $1,928.30, while spot gold was stable at $1,927.99 per ounce at 0234 GMT. Bullion prices fell 1% on Thursday after data showed that the U.S. economy grew at a faster pace during the December quarter than economists had expected. Platinum lost 0.4% to $1,013.88, and palladium also slipped 0.4% to $1,670.87. Both metals were headed for a third consecutive week of declines. Cash fell 0.2% to $23.86 per ounce.
