La première session du conseil d' administration du Millennium Challenge Account-Benin Regional (MCA-BENIN Regional) was held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at the institution's headquarters. It was about the official installation of members and the adoption of statutes and other fundamental documents.

Benin plans to implement the Regional Compact thanks to funding of 202 million dollars from the American government through the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and an initial contribution of 15 150 000 dollars from the Government of Benin.
