From 20 to 21 October 2022, the sessional meeting of the members of the National Export Council (CNE) took place in Jacqueville. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss and discuss the mobilization of financial resources to implement the National Export Strategy (SNE) in order to improve the Ivorian economy through exports. It also made it possible to see the progress of SNE's projects and programmes, with a view to improving the potential of Ivorian companies.

Serge Martial Bombo, Secretary General of the National Export Council (CNE) said during the meeting that “the President of the Republic Alassane Ouattara wants a structural transformation of our economy. This transformation must take into account exports, which must be a major pillar for job creation. To achieve this, we are looking for around 24 billion FCFA.”

Indeed, he reported that “at the end of the discussions we had in the Gbêkê region, it emerges that the problem of financing the SNE remains a reality which, if not addressed and dealt with efficiently, risks seeing the SNE become a shadow of itself due to lack of funding”. “We have a critical role to play. This strategy must be updated to take into account the new challenges that are presented to us. In particular the opening of new EPA markets; British, American, etc. through AGOA, which must be renewed.”
