The national airline EgyptAir reaches a new milestone in its ambitious modernization program. By 2031, its fleet will number 34 new aircraft — Airbus A350-900s and Boeing 737 MAX 8s — striking the completion of the first phase of a comprehensive renewal plan

The announcement was made on Saturday February 14 by the Prime Minister Minister Mostafa Madbouly, on the occasion of the integration of the very first A350-900 within the company's fleet. According to him, EgyptAir will acquire 16 Airbus A350-900 “over the next few years”, thus consolidating its capacities on very long-haul routes.

Specially designed for this strategic segment, these devices will allow Egypt to open new direct services to markets with high potential, especially the Western United States and the Asia of The East.
