Nouroudine Assani, financier and bank executive, hails the government's efforts to rate Benin by Moody's.

A founding member of the Republican Bloc, Nouroudine Assani believes that the work of the Minister of Finance and the leadership of Head of State Patrice Talon, who achieved this result, should be commended.

Benin's senior unsecured debt rating has been downgraded from B2 to B1 by Moody's. In the same vein, the outlook for this debt has shifted from stable to positive.
