The draft circular on the obligations of vigilance and internal monitoring incumbent on bodies and persons subject to the supervision of the Moroccan Capital Markets Authority (AMMC) is currently under public consultation.

This procedure, which will continue until 24 November, complies with the provisions of Article 63 of the AMMC General Regulations. This draft circular repealing and replacing Circular No. 10/18 is part of the alignment of existing provisions with international standards on combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism (FATF Recommendations) and the consideration of legislative and regulatory developments at the national level.

This is a redesign of the framework of the current circular. The objective is to give more clarity to the persons subject in the assimilation of the obligations incumbent on them in this area and to comply with the legal provisions in force.
