A senior White House official clarified in a press interview that these are Himars (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System), i.e. multiple rocket launchers mounted on light armored vehicles. It is therefore not a question of very long-range systems, of several hundred kilometers, as the Americans also have, but it is nevertheless a significant reinforcement of Ukrainian capabilities.

Kiev wants Macron to visit before the end of the French presidency of the EU
