One of the most critical stakeholder groups in integrating insurance customers are brokers. The Nigerian subsidiary of the pan-African insurance company and global financial services provider, Old Mutual Limited, has launched a tailor-made online platform in Lagos.

The objective of this initiative is to allow insurance brokers to request and review quotes, complete transactions for quotes received, and generate the certificate to police then to initiate claims and monitor claim payments in a few clicks.

During the activities, the company said that this was part of its commitment to allowing Nigerians easy access to insurance products. Brokers can now market Old Mutual life insurance policies like group life insurance, credit insurance and other general insurance policies, and even auto, fire, burglary, and marine insurance policies with the platform.
