For the coming year, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects "robust" economic growth for Côte d'Ivoire. The leading economy of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) thus continues to show signs of resilience in the face of the pandemic.

The IMF indicated in a press release published following a mission conducted from January 25 to February 3, 2022 in Côte d'Ivoire that the country will see its economic growth remain robust in 2022 as well as in the medium term. According to the organization, the Ivorian economy continues to show signs of resilience in the face of the pandemic and of a sustained recovery in 2021.
