After oscillating in the first part of the day, prices settled in the green after digesting the weekly report of the US Energy Information Agency (EIA) on US crude reserves.
Oil prices ended higher on Wednesday after a volatile session after the report on the state of U.S. crude inventories. Brent ended 0.56% higher at $67.90 and WTI ended up 0.67% at $64.44.
For the analyst of Commodity Research Group, in general, the figures are favorable for prices. Because they show a strong demand for light products such as gasoline and diesel.
The barrel of North Sea Brent for delivery in May ended up 0.56% or 38 cents to $67.90 from Tuesday's close. In New York, the US barrel of WTI for April advanced 0.67% or 43 cents, to $64.44.
