Around 13:36 GMT, Brent crude oil futures rose by 69 cents, or 0.81%, to $85.69 per barrel. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) U.S. crude oil futures rose 59 cents, or 0.72%, to $82.13. Both contracts gained around 6% in June, with Brent rising above $85 per barrel over the past two weeks after the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies, a group known as OPEC+, extended most of their major cuts in oil production until 2025
