The Board of Directors of Sgi Phoenix Capital Management has appointed Christian Adovèlandé to lead the team. Through this appointment, the structure intends to start a new dynamic of development in the WAEMU zone and in Africa.

As part of a strategic repositioning initiated by the reference shareholder Phoenix Africa Partners Holding (PAPH), the Board of Directors of Sgi Phoenix Capital Management, in session on March 16, 2021, has appointed Christian Adovelande to assume the chairmanship,  previously provided by its Founder, the late Michel Abrogoua.

Christian Adovelande has over 40 years of professional experience in banking and private equity with solid knowledge of the financial markets in Africa.
He was Managing Director of the GARI Guarantee Fund and the Cauris Investissement SA fund. He also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cauris Management SA before being the Chairman of the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID), the Vice-Chairman of the Ecobank Transnational Incorporated Group (ETI) and the President of the West African Development Bank (BOAD) from 2011 to 2020.
