Le service d' information du gouvernement burkinabè a informé le 18 février dernier du lancement du Urban Mobility and Urban Development of Secondary Cities Project (PMDUVS) by the Government of Burkina Faso.

The PMDUVS is launched with the aim of improving the living conditions of populations. It is supported by the World Bank at a cost of 124 billion CFA francs ($203 million). The project aims to improve urban mobility, access to basic services and economic opportunities and the strengthening of urban management capacities in secondary cities in the country. According to the Burkinabe authorities, the PMDUVS will make it possible to “improve living conditions and strengthen the presence of the State by meeting the needs of the population and by
