Ecobank CI will continue its generous distribution policy despite the COvid-19 crisis. It intends to pay its directors a total of 250 million FCFA for 2021.

Like its investors, the directors of Ecobank Côte d'Ivoire, one of the most profitable banks on the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM), will also benefit from the dividends of a positive 2020. As in 2020, the second largest subsidiary of the group based in Lomé plans to pay 250 million FCFA gross this year in official allowances to directors.

This decision was taken by the Ordinary General Meeting of the Ivorian subsidiary of the pan-African group, which was held in April. In 2020, the directors had received just over 185 million FCFA. A figure below the 250 million approved by shareholders that the second bank of Côte d'Ivoire in terms of assets justifies by disruptions related to the covid 19 pandemic.
