At a ceremony in Geneva, Switzerland, on Friday, November 18, 2022, George Agyekum Donkor, President of the ECOWAS Investment and Development Bank (BIDC) received the prestigious Crans Montana Forum Foundation Award.

The Crans Montana Forum is a leading international institution dedicated to cooperation between the public and private sectors that has become an elegant meeting place for senior officials and senior decision makers in governments and businesses, the Foundation Prize is awarded in recognition of work done and serves as solemn encouragement. It was handed over to Agyekum Donkor by His Royal Highness Prince Guillaume Jean Joseph Marie of Luxembourg and the founder and president of Crans Montana, Jean Paul Carteron.

This award is a sign of recognition of Donkor's numerous contributions to the socio-economic development of the sub-region by leading strategic economic initiatives for job creation and by providing dynamic leadership to champion wealth creation for vulnerable population groups.
