The performance recorded in the second quarter in Senegal was explained by the increase in the production of the extractive industries (+12.2%) and that of electricity, gas and water (+11.9%). According to ANSD, the increase in the production of extractive industries is due to the performance observed in the production of other products of the extractive industries (+27.0%) and that of metallic ores (+3.5%).
