On Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at the Prime Minister in Abidjan- Plateau, Patrick Achi, launched the call for applications for the Economic Programme for L& #39; Innovation and Business Transformation (PEPITE), considered to be one of the key programs in the “Vision 2030" of the President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara, for strengthening domestic value chains.

The Economic Program for Innovation and Business Transformation (PEPITE) is in line with the National Development Plans (NDP). It focuses on several sectoral “clusters”, priorities to accelerate the country's productive transformation, with the main objective of strengthening Ivorian startups, Very Small Enterprises (TPE) and High-Potential Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), in order to offer them a technical and financial support to accelerate their growth.

According to the Ivorian Prime Minister, Patrick Achi, “PEPITE-CI is a Program of Excellence based on a competitive, transparent and traceable selection process that will allow Better to become much better and to the greats to become giants.” Thus, the program aims to “obtain, by 2030, more than a hundred national champions proudly raising the Ivorian flag on the summits of all the economic spaces of our continent.”
