In order to support the construction of a power line to connect Mauritania and Mali, the African Development Bank (AfDB) granted 302.9 million dollars to the two countries.

The electrical interconnection project between Mali and Mauritania will integrate several solar power plants. It is gradually being implemented with the support of development partners.
