Several partners were interested in the Djermaya Solar project. Therefore, they have worked together to ensure the financing of this project. The African Development Bank, PROPARCO (AFD Group) and the International Fund for Emerging Africa (EAIEF), senior lenders, provided 36.7 million euros, while the European Union and PIDG TAF are intervening with concessional loans worth 6.35 million euros and 1.5 million euros respectively.

Djermaya Solar is a four-phase project. These include the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the 32 Mw photovoltaic solar power plant. Indeed, with the contribution of the partners, the level of the overall envelope mobilized is 44.55 million euros, or 31.185 billion CFA francs.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a company incorporated under Indian law, has undertaken the construction and operation of the Photovoltaic Solar Power Plant. The sale of the electricity produced to the National Electricity Company (SNE) over a period of 20 years is entrusted to the company Djermaya CDEN Energy (Project Management Company). For its part, the SNE will buy electricity from Djermaya CDENenergy at 68 FCFA/kWh. For its part, the Bank Société Générale Tchad (SGT) is called upon to issue a letter of credit in favor of Société Djermaya CDEN Energy, as a guarantee of certain payment obligations of the SNE.
